Operator obligation gigs

Operator obligation gigs

I have a couple of questions about obligation gigs:

1) how do you handle obligation gigs with other pc's (consequence of the sex
Move)? Since it is not an Npc, as mc what do you say to narrate the outcome of the gig?

2) i don't know if it's right, but I remember that the sex
Moves work only on pc's. Does that means that the operator's sex move works
Also on npc (as an exception)?

1. As MC, I turn to the other player and say, "well, Mal's screwed it up, he's been completely blowing you off [or whatever makes sense]. Yeah?" It's up to the other player what that means from then on.

2. In principle, sex moves work with NPCs and PCs equally. Some of them don't happen to have any effect when your partner's an NPC, like the angel's, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

I've also never had an issue with using certain mechanical "sex moves" descriptively.

If your sex moves says that "the other characters takes +1forward", and the other character's an NPC, I'll use that as a prompt to have them do something cool or succeed where they might normally have failed, or maybe just grow a spine.
