I was thinking about a reskin/hack of AW, where the Dust Bowl phenomenon of the 30s was caused by god-knows-what and ended up becoming its own Apocalypse. I really don't think any of the core rules need to be changed, but I think that some of the playbooks may become obsolete, or at least need some retooling. The driver, chopper, and I guess most of the hi-tech stuff might not fit so well. I had in mind a playbook involving a traveling circus caravan with creepy carnies, and I'm not really sure what else. The psychic maelstrom could very easily become freak dust storms, with dirt very literally always being in the corner of your vision.
What other archetypes do you feel would fit, and does this seem like it could be an interesting setting?
