Dungeon World / Re: Dungeon World on Google Hangouts. Anyone interested?
« on: September 13, 2012, 11:43:05 AM »
Pseudo -

I generally run games on G+ every OTHER Friday night @ 8:00 pm CDT. Sessions are 2 to 2.5 hours. The DW game would be some weeks out, if it happens at all, but I'll keep you in the loop, if you are still interested.

Dungeon World / Dungeon World on Google Hangouts. Anyone interested?
« on: September 12, 2012, 09:32:45 AM »
If anyone is interested in playing Dungeon World online, using Google Hangouts let me know. Obviously, scheduling might be an issue, but it makes sense to gather interest first. It would be in the evenings: GMT -6. I can be reached here: professordavidwilliams@gmail.com.

Dungeon World / Beta Playbooks on the way
« on: February 01, 2012, 11:40:54 AM »
As fate would have it, I'm starting my DW game this Friday. As the Beta is now available, I will use it. Not having playbooks is somewhat problematic, though. Is there a timetable on their release?

Dungeon World / Beta: Bard
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:16:10 AM »

The bard's "Arcane Music" seems problematic. There should probably be some limitation on how frequently it can be used, or how often a given character can benefit. I assume benefits like "+1 forward to damage" cannot be accumulated, but that isn't clear.

Re: "Arcane Music", I would also propose an alternative for a roll of 7-9:
"You lose your artistic inspiration. Take -1 forward to Arcane Music until you experience a sublime moment of great beauty or other transcendent emotion."

"A Port in the Storm" doesn't seem specific enough to be a bard move. It seems more like an end-game move anyone could attempt.

Dungeon World / Blank Playbooks?
« on: October 19, 2011, 08:49:15 AM »
Are there blank playbooks available anywhere?

I have the Red Box, and the playtest draft. I'd like to make the Bard and Ranger from the playtest available, but I can't find any blank playbooks. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks. I'm not usually this dense. Perhaps I'm having a bad day. :)

Been there. Could you be more specific?

Hiya -

I have the redbox version of DW, and I gather there's another version (AG). Where might I find it?
