Order of moves listed on playbooks

Here is a question I'm not sure I've ever seen an answer to. Is there a particular order of moves on a playbook? I mean its not alphabetical. Is there thought that goes into which appears first or last? I'm not just asking for AW but any hacks people have made as well. Do you put them in any particular order?

In Apocalypse World, they're in rhythmic order, which I can only presume is completely imperceptible and useless to anyone but me.

In my own hacks otherwise, they're alphabetical, as they should be.

I mean seriously what is my problem.

Oh course now I'm going to have to put them in alphabetical order, like later, not now or anything, like someday.

So far I've I always just left mine in the order I originally wrote them lol.

In my hacks, I tend to order them by kind.

• Preselected moves (which also follow the below order if more than one).
• Stat increase moves.
• Stat swap moves.
• "Complete" moves.
• Equipment moves (e.g. you get a car).
