By-the-book game play examples?
« on: September 19, 2014, 08:28:38 AM »
Hey all, I just found Dungeon World, and I'm looking into playing it.

I've checked out a few live-play and play report videos on youtube, but none of the ones
I've seen strictly conform to the rules as written (as I understand them).  Things like
not starting the characters in a dangerous situation, using Discern, in effect, as a perception roll...

Could you point me to some play descriptions (live or summary) that would give me a flavor
of how a by-the-book game is supposed to run?

The 16 HP Dragon is one of my favorites. The Dungeon World Fan Guide is also pretty good.

There's also the Example of Play from the DW Site
