Operator Question

For a gig that hits a complication  (a delivery bushwacked for example) if you manage to resolve that complication via game play, can you still get paid? 
So if you are bushwacked, and the MC starts the game with that scene, and you successfully fight them off or use the "Eye on the Door" move, can you complete the delivery and get your jingle?

Or is it assumed that you had over the delivery to save your skin?

Well, if you're playing it out, I'd say that's up to your patron.

Kind of depends on the fiction, I'd think. If there aren't enough details about the gig to figure it out, maybe it's time for another scene (with the Operator trying to get paid), or to ask the players some questions about how the gig works.
