Bargains with Death?

That's nice! Can you actually imagine her choosing the Halfling afterlife?

(The following note might not be relevant to this particular case, but is worth bearing in mind generally...)

The best Bargains with Death make the player seriously think about their character and the choice.

Well, the thing is, she has no memory of her halfling family, and dearly loves her adopted dwarven sister (who is the party fighter). So I feel that maybe the halfling afterlife wouldn't be good enough for her.

Another pre-prepared Bargain, this time for the wizard who started out as the gandalf-archetype, all about subtly putting things in place so that things would happen the way he wanted, and who has recently just taken to fireballing things. Death will remind him that his fate was to manipulate the fates of others, not to take what he wants and burn those who oppose him.

He will be returned to life with the Domino Effect move from the fortune-teller (see elsewhere on this forum), but if he ever directly harms another being with his magic, he will die.

How about:
While you wake, your life is your own. While you dream, you serve Death.

Which could be played as:
-The character's spirit returns to the Black Gate each nightmarish night to serve at Death's side, never truly resting (-1 Con). The character's body goes corpse-cold and seems lifeless while the spirit is away.
or
-The character's body is possessed by Death each night and stalks the darkness doing its master's bidding. The character has no recollection of what happened in the morning, only dark fragments of memories hinting at terrible things.
