changing playbooks and access to the ungiven future

When you change to a new playbook, do you still have access to the extra 'Ungiven Future' options, or do you have to wait until you make 5 more advancements from your new playbook?

The rule is that you get with the MC and figure out together what is part of you, so you keep, and what is part of your old life, so you leave behind. This includes access to the ungiven future.

When I'm the MC, you usually keep it, but I can imagine events in play that would lead us to agree that you don't.
