I release my little gadget called
'Grimace'.This rogue's gallery was initially intended for sandbox games like Apocalypse World, Monster of the Week or Monsterhearts.
Games where characters are created on the go.They are supposed to feel real and authentic.
With Grimace, you can pick a random face to inspire a whole character. Or you can choose a specific face to fit a concept you already have in mind.
Grimace is of course quite functional in traditional games as well.
For example, we used it efficiently on a Song of Ice and Fire game ( without going so far as giving a face to every single bystander!)
It wouldn't be out of place in a Cthulhu or Warhammer game either.
