Fronts?

So I see no mention of Fronts on the MC sheet.  Does Dark Ages run without Fronts, just on MC Principles and MC Moves?  Or should I port in Fronts from AW?

Based on the instructions, I'd expect not: set up the stronghold, peoples, characters, their enemies and other neighbors. Do previous season. "Does this give you enough to start play?" Which seems like it pretty much would.

Looks like no fronts, yes, but with possible enemies from the start.

With Judson. Don't make fronts, just start with the enemies of the stronghold, and see how far they take you in play before you need some other structure to pick up. 1 session, 6 sessions, 20? 0? I'm curious to find out, so be sure to come back and tell me!

After a session of prep, we found that Enemies + Season moves needed a little something more to move on. We cast about and think that the "ask provocative questions" and the two "have an NPC ..." are probably the next steps.

It'd've helped us if there'd been a call out to that effect either in the playtest directions or perhaps in the season moves e.g. "your household grows by 1 - the MC might ask you who the parents are?"

The instructions say "Point out that in addition to the season moves on the characters’ playbooks, there’s one on the peoples’ sheets". I must be missing something, which move is that?
