KANGA RAT MURDER SOCIETY

Sometimes when you put words together they create something creater than the sum of their parts.

And sometimes it sounds like someone pulled words out of a goddamn hat and smashed them together.

Why are all the areas named after animals?  Are the people animal people?  What's going on here?

Also, how do you change the course of previous history?  :)

Kanga Rat Murder Society is now my official Scott Pilgrim band name.  I like how the names kind of peter out when you get to "Mountainous New Continent Connected to North America."

This is Jack Kirby, right?  True America genius.

You'll notice that Mexico has become a Wild Human Preserve.

My at-a-glance is that humans have been overtaken by mutant-animal creatures.

Who's Jack Kirby?  Is he 8?  I mean... I'm amused by this, sure, but it all reads like a little kid came up with it.
"Orangutan Surfing Civilization"
"Communi-bear Silo State" (what's a "Silo State" anyway?)
"United States of Lions"

I also like like the quotation marks in "Island of the 'God Watchers'."  Why did "God Watchers" need quotes around it?  Nothing else does.  I guess they aren't really "God Watchers"?

Joe: I bow to your courage.

If I do this the session will be based purely on what the players bring to the table having seen the map, (with a heavy Tank Girl vibe, no doubt), but here's the original source:

I'm pretty sure I have every issue in my mom's attic.

"Who's Jack Kirby?"

My eyes!  They cannot unsee!

In preparing to run this game, I googled "rat city"

That led me to this and [urlhttp://eeethan.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/rat-world-sign.gif]this[/url].

My game-in-prep just evolved.

It's probably really obvious but I don't really "know" comics.  The only comics-related people I'm semi-familiar with are Frank Miller, Neil Gaiman, and Alan Moore.
