They are referred to as sex moves multiple times in the rules. And WITHIN those Specials.

Example:

If you and another character have sex, nullify the other character's sex move. Whatever it is, it just doesn't happen.

So yes, there is something about moves in there.

I don't know, I definitely pass judgment on the player's actions. That's part of making Apocalypse World feel real, not outside of it.

"You're trying to manipulate... uhh, you don't really have any leverage in this situation. Try to bring some into play, and then you can roll manipulate."

I haven't had this happen, but I'd probably be like, "Speak the truth? Doesn't sound like it to me. I mean, you either gotta say something truthy, or convince me otherwise."

I'm not a bossy jerk MC, but it has to make sense to me.

Okay, I'll admit that some stuff happened besides my remembering the Harm move.

Nero's security job fell through so Baby suggested hiring themselves out to Saffron, even though she hates Saffron (she blames Saffron for Nero getting shot at her club). So they met up, discussed business, and now Saffron has them in her employ in exchange for drink and beds.

Also, yeah, Saffron wanted a meeting with Moses. She has a finger in every pie, but she couldn't get him to come to her club. But he agreed to meet with her! She just had to come to his turf. Alone. She was planning on going with Baby but Nero talked her out of it. And by talked her out of it I mean slept with her. Oh, and he agreed to go talk to Moses for her.

And Batty is now working security for Core. He was guarding the market, when the head of Core's goons' head exploded. There were snipers across the way. Batty ran out to try to get to their buildings, got shot in the leg and had to hide behind a bus. So he's laying there, he makes out their position, and then pops out and with three quick assault rifle bursts they're all mostly dead. And then all of a sudden Core's goons are listening to him when he gives them orders. Batty has a gang.

I'm hoping Saffron's player will chime in since she's on these forums. But as the MC I feel a bit wimpy about just saying, "Okay, you're pregnant." But I guess if she's cool with it no biggie.

So, one of my players is like, "So, Saffron is doing it with people. Is she going to have a baby or what?"

I have been trying to figure out how to deal with that. The getting pregnant part I'm like, "Well, I guess I could just say you get pregnant." That doesn't seem right though. I don't want to be responsible for that decision!

Delivering a baby is totally a custom move, though. That's easy.

It was worth it. The gunlugger was taking on these snipers who'd set up in some buildings across the market and he was serpentining towards them and got shot. It was 3-harm, but he was in 2-armor so no big, but then he rolled like 12 on the Harm move, so I said the sniper's bullet went right through his leg and he was pinned down and stuck behind a school bus with no way of advancing or retreating.

I can see it making combat way more interesting.

Last game, I finally remembered the Harm move.

That was the only thing that happened that mattered!

To an Angel: "So, who have you been working on lately? Who have you been patching up?"

It netted me two different answers in two different games.

"There's a flu going around, maybe bronchitis or something, so I've been making housecalls to the different people in the hardhold and checking on the kids."

"I think there's a lot of fighting between different gangs in the city, so they come to me to get patched up after the fights."

Both really helped create the atmosphere of the two cities.
