Yes, like in wow. Bur Death knights or something like it have been seen in Pathfinder, various 3.x supplements etc.

Where is the source book number appearing? I have never heard of it, where do you find it?

The biggest thing about the shadow priest is they have a shadow form that in h DW mechanics would cause damage to be increased by one step and they would not be able to cast healing spells or use healing abilities and some kind of bonus to stealth or something in dark areas or at night. I think it would work like a compendium class for the cleric. Other then shadowform there is some dark shadow magic abilities they have.

other lumpley games / Kill Puppies for Satan Revised?

So, due to a series of events that my friends who got deployed left with my two print copies of Kill Puppies for Satan I have been trying to acquire new copies but Mr. Baker is out of them. For the second, the military boys are getting great use out of his game over there though and one copy has seen better days, lol.

I would really like to see a revised edition where both the core and the supplement for it are merged into one digest style book like Apocalypse World and the like. Even if it is POD I would be happy.

Anyway, I figured there must be other people who would like to see this. So, ya. Just tossing this idea out there.

Compendium Class: Necromancer

If you are a Wizard and you willing dedicate yourself to the study of death and all of its secrets by completing The Binding you can take the following move when you level up.

Whispers from Beyond: This move functions exactly like the spell Speak with Dead.

One you have taken Whispers from Beyond, the following moves count as class moves for you. You may also choose from this list whenever you level up.

Create Undead: You force a spirit to reanimate a recently dead body or a pile of bones. This Move functions like the Animate Dead spell except that you can create skeletons or zombies and when the created dead are active, the Wizard ignores the -1 to cast a spell.

Grave Magic: You can choose to learn spells from the Cleric list that are related to death or other negative effects in addition to your access to the Wizard spells.

Mastery of Death: Death holds no mysteries for you, when you make your Last Breath Move, make it at a +2.

Dark Touch: Your channel dark energy from beyond the Black gate into your touch or through your weapon. You deal d6 damage that ignores armor instead of your class damage when making a Hack and Slash move.

Here is a rough thrown together idea. I am still writing up the binding ritual thing.

Ya, I read it but there is no link that I could find. I am thinking something more along the lines of a Diablo 2 inspired Necromancer or an Animator from Hallowfaust. I am going to try to work something up. I will post it here.

Dungeon World / Necromancer Class?

So, I am new to this game and I plan on running a campaign with it. I am still reading through the book (I printed out the whole thing and had it bound) and I am just excited as hell about this game.

Anyway, well I have been reading through my old Hallowfaust supplement and it got me thinking. Dungeon World needs a Necromancer Class. I know I do not have the skill to undertake this project, but are the others that are willing?
