So he is hard to kill. That is his thing.

Seduce him, trick him, inspire him. Kill his friends and family.

Just like they screw with an action hero in a movie.

Page 244 adresses this and says that using specialty gear such as  non angel using an angel kits or a non brainer using brainer gear requires a cool under fire test.

Arvid, I think it's fine. Our Appalachia game sacrifices NONE of the strangeness, and stuff lurking out there in the deep woods and down in the wet hollows is plenty creepy.

Just populate it with weird and broken people and places nestled among the trees. Frankly, given the militia movement, meth labs, and Unibomber crazies, some parts the rural backwoods look pretty Apocalyptic ALREADY.

Totally. Just watch the FX show Justified and you can see where things are well on their way in KY. Another good source for plots and characters for AW.

I was really surprised not to see Deadwood on the list. The characters are straight playbooks and I can see the moves happening on the screen, not just the basic ones, but even the character ones.

I could not agree with you more.

Angel, Chopper, Gunlugger, Hardholder, Operators, Skinner ect ...

Deadwood is the hold. Lots of external and interior threats.

Just dead on. Plus the gritty sex and violence. Dead on.
