Dungeon World / Dungeon World Books (Canada)
« on: March 07, 2013, 05:15:46 PM »
Greetings,

Due to some sort of customs problem, I'm still awaiting my shipment of Dungeon World books in both the hardcover and the softcover variety.  My problem however is that due to the rather long wait time, I've had several customers cancel their orders on me.  This has left me with a rather large surplus of Dungeon World books heading in my direction, and while I could opt to go the ebay route and price gouge the heck out of some people desperate to get their hands on a physical copy of the book.  I'm a gamer at heart and would much rather get these books into the loving hands of fellow gamers who will have countless hours amusement thanks to them.
I'm giving Canadian requests preferential treatment because I don't have to deal with customs.  I was thinking of selling the extra copies for $40 (Canadian) per hardcover and $25 (Canadian) per softcover, but the price is negotiable.  If anyone is interested please contact me and we can discuss shipping and payment arrangments for when the books finally arrive.

Cheers,

Dungeon World / Multiclass Dabbler
« on: October 13, 2012, 01:07:31 AM »
Greetings,

In previous editions of the rules the multiclass dabbler advanced move was explained in length under the fighter section along the lines of:

"Get one move from another class. For the purposes of Multiclass Dabbler the Wizard's Spellbook, Prepare Spells, and Cast a Spell moves count as one move. The Cleric's Commune and Cast a Spell moves also count as one move. If you gain the ability to cast spells you cast them as if you were one level lower."

In the latest edition of the rules, the wording has been simplified to:

"Get one move from another class. Treat your level as one lower for choosing the move."

Does this mean that you no longer get the combination of Cleric or Wizard spellcasting moves by taking multiclass dabbler?  I just wanted some clarity on the new wording of the text.

Dungeon World / Problems Getting "Within the Devil's Reach"
« on: September 03, 2012, 03:07:23 AM »
Greetings,

I was just wondering if anyone else who ordered a hardcover copy of "Dungeon World" has received their PDF copy of "Within the Devil's Reach"?  I ordered several hardcovers and haven't received the PDF as of yet.  I'm just curious as to when my copy of the PDF might arrive.

Cheers,
