Freebooting Venus / Re: Fighting, interrupting, GM rolls
« on: October 30, 2015, 07:06:55 PM »
Admittedly without having read too much of the rules, I am now imagining fights going like in the computer adventures Monkey Island (and the sequel)... also known as Insult Sword Fighting ... with the insults interrupting the fight (if they succeed).

*fight fight fight*

I'm an Indiegogo supporter, and I noticed that the current version of the rules (the "Typo Hunt" edition) has some (minor, on first glance) differences with the available version of the playbooks.

Nothing game-breaking, but (for example) the Damage Tracks in the playbooks are missing the Unstable check box. I haven't had the time to go through everything in minute detail :)

Also, some of the playbooks don't have their final art in yet.

Any idea on when those might get updated? I'll be running a convention game next week, and I'm fine with running with the current version of the playbooks.

I'm primarily curious when they will get updated!

Dungeon World / Re: Typo within new Dungeon World Hack PDF
« on: August 12, 2011, 11:48:08 AM »
Just a quick question on the "current" Hack version: is that the one labeled "11-03-06" at the bottom?

I also seem to have downloaded a "11-05-04" version at some point, but when re-downloading the Hack version (in the hopes of finding a newer one) it still seems to be the "11-03-06" version. Planning to pitch running a couple of sessions with friends this weekend, and it would be nice to have a recent version, especially since all the GenCon stories on various forums got me more interested in running this game :)

Cool to hear this was so successfull at Gencon.

Is there (or will there be) a way to get hold of the Red Book edition in PDF form?
