Loot tables have always been my favorite thing about traditional D&D, but I couldn't find any without that fantasy edge, so I made my own for AW. Roll a d100 (or 2d10) to get a trinket. Most items should be suited to most any post-apocalyptic setting. I have a name, some flavor text, and any relevant tags or stats. I strove for "interesting, but not especially valuable or immediately and obviously useful," although there are a few single-use 1-harm weapons listed. If an item is obviously useful or valuable, I tried to limit its uses--yeah, you've got cigarettes, but only a couple. Value-wise: something that could buy you a hot meal, or 1-2 days' worth of freeze-dried or shelf-stable food, or a night or two on a cot on someone's floor.
There are a few items which may or may not exist in your game (mobile phones, CD's, etc.) Reroll if you get something that doesn't mesh with your game.
I may make additional tables, because I really enjoy this sort of writing.
