If I seize by force another characters sex, does our special/sex moves activate as normal ? Does consent factors in on the activation of sex moves ?
Just curious. Ive played the game a lot but this never came up during our sessions.

A lot of the moves seem to indicate willing sex, having a good feel vibe about them.
My first instinct is to handle it case by case, but the players probably knows better than me, whether it makes sense for the move to fire.
So I think I'd let it be up to the participants, whether to activate their sex move. So the Brainer might read the mind of her rapist (or victim), but the Operator probably wouldn't take an obligation gig (though it might turn out that he liked it).

Yes, I’ll handle it case by case, like Rubberduck said, if everyone at the table is comfortable with it.
Just consider special moves, in my opinion, are about trust and willingness, therefore every player should decide if their special moves applies or not in a similar circumstance.

Makes sense for me. Thanks folks. ;-)

I think I remember Vincent saying something about how the trigger is have sex with another character, while Poison'd would have been "When you fuck another character", the two having very different implications.
Rape isn't just a subset of sex, its just happens to be a thing done with the same bodyparts.

Yep. I chose the wording - "when you and another character have sex" - very specifically. "Brace Win and I had sex" isn't what you'd say about a rape!
