So, is there anything going on behind the curtains? Or maybe the project is dead? And even if it is, are there any chances for revival?

It will definitely happen eventually. Right now I'm swamped with grad school and other game stuff (editing Magic Missile, running FreeMarket).  I also haven't gotten the chance to run Apocalypse World yet, just play in it, so I'm not yet confident enough to write the whole hack, perhaps.

I certainly will.  Right now, Elizabeth is the biggest advocation for Firmament and keeps bugging me every few months about it.  If it gets done anytime soon, it will probably be thanks to her.
