Title: Lay on Hands
Post by: FarrelNZ on August 25, 2012, 05:51:49 PM
Can someone point me towards the rules on how often a Paladin can use Lay on Hands?
I'm failing to find the rules of heal abilities for classes that don't have some sort of communion

They can use it as often as they trigger the move. So any time they touch someone, skin to skin, and pray for their well-being the move is triggered.

Farrel - keep in mind that on a 7-9 the damage just gets shifted (to the paladin).  And on a 6- you can make a move, as hard as you like.  Meaning, unlike other games where it means essentially an infinite stream of healing, magic has a price and is limited by the base mechanic.

Sometimes it's just better to rest.

Also consider that this this is a divine blessing, not a technological solution. Some gods might oppose their powers being used like common healing salves. Or they might oppose their gifts being used on the wrong people...

What I mean is that you can always "take away their stuff" if you need to ^^
