Title: World of Dungeon - Translation
Post by: Murder-of-Crows on June 19, 2012, 01:57:21 PM
Would it be alright to translate World of Dungeon into German and host it somewhere on the internet? Probably my Blog?

Wait a sec!

Dungeon World is all CC-BY. World of Dungeons belongs to John Harper, not us, so we can't apply that license to it. He's a pretty cool guy and I'd guess he'll be cool with it, but he's the only one who can give that permission.

Ah!  Right you are, Sage. I misread the title of the post.  Dyslexia strikes again.

And there I was wondering about the answer I first received. ;)
Well, asking never hurts.

Yes, a translation would be great!

Maybe hold off on posting it publicly, though. I want WoD to remain as a DW Kickstarter exclusive thing for now.

Thanks. Yes, I hadn't thought of the exclusivity of the Kickstarter. I will hold off on putting it somewhere until after the Kickstarter has closed and DW has shipped.

Is there a way to send you the result?
