Title: Art & Design for Firmament

A mock-up of a 11x11" booklet cover spread.

An example of what a starting map might look like, generated by the players before play begins in earnest.  The faded lines are pathways that are known or marked but not actively practiced and familiar to the group. I'm sure we'll come up with a much better map in playtest.

From NASAporn (http://"http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/2010/32"), this is the kind of place where I imagine a starting crew of starfarers build their initial base: a small rock floating around some distant star, lit by a small lighthouse or other beacon.
