Title: The end of the world?

Has anyone had their AW game slip bad-ward and end up with the world being destroyed or rendered truly uninhabitable?  How'd that work?

As detailed here (http://apocalypse-world.com/forums/index.php?topic=1956.msg11532#msg11532) in my "Hyena Rock" game, it ended the campaign... on an incredibly cool, yet sad, note...

In my "Winds of Win(x)field" game a plan was being set in motion to reduce the intellect of 99% of the remaining humans to the level of dumb animals, as it was believed (by a select few) that mankind's "higher brain functions" were causing the Psychic Maelstrom... unfortunately most of the PCs died in a three-way Mexican stand-off so it never came to fruition...
