Hi all I only just found out about the Apocalypse World LE Playbooks and I have none of them atm (so I can not see how I can trade for them) I would like to get my hands on them and there isn't anywhere that I can see to buy them, does anyone have suggestions on how I can gain access to them?

You could search this forum for similar threads, I'm sure they abound.
Also, searching for "Apocalypse Word LE playbooks" threads on story-games.com/forums or forum.rpg.net should also yields threads wherein there is barter going on.

Thank you Nathan i will look into those two forums you have mentioned but currently I do see that I really have anything to trade. I searched this forum as well but found similar threads to mine (without your links tyvm for that) asking where/how I am looking at those specific links but it seems you need a LE to start "trading" and I have none, if anyone has some LE's that don't mind sending my way I would appreciate it.

Isn't Brett still handing out his Faceless playbook for posting a picture of yourself in a mask? And there were some threads on Storygames for getting playbooks for coming up with cool custom moves, if I remember rightly.

That thread that Tim posted is where it's at. Most folks don't wanna trade but would rather you do something in order to receive the playbooks. I've personally spent more than a few hours making art for Johnstone and Ben to get some of the groovy playbooks they've written or others than I didn't have access to, I've donated to charity, come up with custom moves, &c.
As for me, I've been known to part with playbooks for engaging with various threads or subforums that I think need more attention. At this point, the only thing I'm looking for is custom content, community involvement or solving design problems.

Personally I am hoarding my playbooks in case of an apocalypse -- no point trading them away cheaply now, when they'll be worth a fortune after the collapse!

Just as everyone else I´m searching for more playbooks to introduce to my players, already scraped thru the forum and made a few crude trifolds for personal use but still havn´t manged to get my hands on any off the 'official'/pre-made ones other then the Maestro D and the Touchstone (that followed the book). Im willing to trade any of the two for just about anything else.

I too am looking for these limited edition playbooks. I was just introduced to the game 2 days ago when my group decided to play it and I just found out about the LE Playbooks today.
Right now I am contemplating a (male) Battlebabe, but I would love to introduce the others to my group. The Quarantine sounds particularly interesting. Could someone help me out?

Maybe it's as complicated as getting some guy on death row exonerated with DNA evidence. Regardless, it's your mystery. You decide whether or not it counts. Anyone looking for pretty much any of the playbooks, even the weirder stuff like the Spectacle, the Maleficent Seven expanded core, um, and all of Vincent's expect the Marmot, but you can get that elsewhere. I don't think I have the Grotesque just yet.
Anyways, I need good, thoughtful, critical feedback and custom moves for a hack I'm working on over here: http://apocalypse-world.com/forums/index.php?board=16.0 (http://apocalypse-world.com/forums/index.php?board=16.0) Especially, the basic moves thread.
For every 750 or so words and/or a mechanical insight or two, I'll send you a playbook, assuming I have it. It has to be thoughtful, critical, useful feedback, not just the first 750 words out of your mouth. Editing and quality ideas are key here.
Post it first, and then let me know you had ulterior motives. My email is in my profile.

I tried posting this on RPG.net, but I haven't gotten any hits. I'll see what I get here, but the playbook hunt is frustrating.
I'm willing to draw a map or create a prop for a playbook. Here's what I have:
- Touchstone
- Quarantine
- Maestro D
- Faceless
- Hoarder
- Grotesque
- Turncoat
I want anything I don't already own.
The rules:
1) I am not an artist. I'll draw a map out, but you won't get computer-generated backgrounds or anything. I promise I'll do more than draw a line with a big TRESURE HERE at the end, though.
2) No revisions. I'm pretty busy, and no playbook is worth the hassle of an editor. I'll take some general art direction in your request, but I'm not polishing it to perfection. If it's a prop with text, I can probably make some minor modifications.
I am also willing to trade playbooks. I will give you playbooks for a map as well, posted to the forum. It doesn't need to be amazing, but it should be a good try and give people something interesting to look at as a prop. I get sort of frustrated at the fact that everyone seems to want tons of playbooks in return, and I get that feeling people new to the game can have when they see all these cool playbooks around but they can't get them because they have none to trade, so that's why I make the map offer.
Let me know if you're interested! I'd really like to get a bunch of the fan-made ones. PM me if you're interested.

Hey all,
After almost a year long hiatus I'm gearing up to MC AW again. I'm stoked - as excited as when the game was released! But I see that there's now this thing (rodent?) called the Marmot. I'd gladly swap for any other LE playbook...or all. Or you can name an NPC in my campaign - imagine that!
Also, I only have the weird 6 (8?) page Maestro D' playbook - if anyone has the trifold I'd be much obliged.

... So, last month I found the Tremulus Kickstarter, and thought it sounded cool, and backed it. Unfortunately, the PDF wasn't delivered immediately (stupid layout not ready yet) and so instead of drive myself crazy waiting for the materials, I decided to pick up the AW stuff and try it out (since there was a note there that it's based on the same engine, and the engine looks pretty neat).
So now I've got all the AW core stuff, MC'd my first session last weekend for my friends, and I'm itching to take a look at the LE Playbooks (I'm something of a "completionist"). Unfortunately, I don't have anything to trade for them (yet... I'll be getting some LE Playbooks for Tremulus once those are ready).
So, can anybody help a guy out? ;-) I'm mostly looking for the official LE Playbooks (not the fan materials) at this point. Thanks!

I found the swashbuckler in document format on the forums then completed it and trifolded it. All my playbooks I've listed as being playteated are trifolds and have yet to be traded. Give me some offers for them. :)

Well, nerdwerds, that's a pretty nice blog post you got there. However, I recommend that you remove The Grotesque, just because of the way it is supposed to be aquired: the creator asks that you perform good deeds for the people around you. Spreading a little altruism in the world wound't be a bad thing, no?

Read the blog post a little closer, the Grotesque description tells you to visit the website and follow instructions.
